The ingredients needed to cook Saag paneer:

  1. You need 200 g of paneer.
  2. Take 1 of onion.
  3. You need 2 tablespoons of curry paste of your choice.
  4. Use 50 g of cashew nuts.
  5. Take 1/4 of cauliflower.
  6. Get 200 g of spinach.
  7. You need 50 g of Yoghurt (optional).

Instructions to make Saag paneer:

  1. Fry the cashew nuts and set aside.
  2. Cube and fry the paneer & set aside.
  3. Boil the cauliflower florets for 4 minutes.
  4. Fry the onion.
  5. Add the curry paste and 100ml water.
  6. Add the cauliflower and other veg of your choice. I added some mushrooms and red pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Add the paneer, cashews and spinach. Simmer for 10 minutes. If a creamier taste is preferred add 50ml Greek yoghurt or creme fraiche..
  8. Serve with rice and naan bread.
