Before you jump to Tex's Paprika Chicken with Fried Corn on the Cob 🌽🐔🧀 recipe, you may want to read this short interesting healthy tips about The Basics of Being Healthy.

We all understand that, in order to really be healthy, nutritious and balanced meal plans are important as are good amounts of exercise. Sadly, we do not always have the time or the power that this type of lifestyle involves. Going to the gym isn't something people decide to do when they get off from work. We want a yummy, greasy burger, not an equally tasty salad (unless we’re vegetarians). You should be thankful to learn that getting healthy doesn't always have to be super hard work. With practice you can get all of the nutrients and the exercise that you need. Here are some of the best techniques to be healthy and balanced.

Run the stairs. Walk up the stairs to where you live or work as opposed to using the elevator. While this will be difficult to do if you live on or if your job is on a seriously high level floor in a skyscraper, taking the stairs to a home or office on, say, the fifth floor is totally do-able. If you do work on a very high floor, why not get off the elevator a few floors early and walk the rest of the way? So many people choose the elevator over hiking even a single flight of stairs. Even if you only have one flight to climb, climbing down and up it during the day is a great way to get extra exercise.

There are a lot of things that contribute to your getting healthy. Extensive gym visits and directly defined diets are not always the solution. Little things, when done every single day, can do a lot to enable you to get healthy and lose pounds. Make sensible choices every day is a great start. Looking to get in as much physical activity as possible is another. Remember: being healthy isn’t just about reducing your weight. You need your body to be powerful too.

  1. Have your potatoes ready to go as you heat your oil to 130°C/265°F.

  3. Cook your chips for 2-3 minutes then allow to cool.
  4. Cook your corn with a little salt in the water and allow to cool. I like to leave mine leaning or stood up so all the water doesn't run to one side of the cob.

  6. Put the chicken on a baking tray and place in the oven for 30-35 minutes, check it's cooked (it should have an internal temperature of 75°C/165°F, or the juices should run clear when pierced with a skewer). Allow to rest for 10 minutes.
