- Take 1/2 teaspoon of dhania.

- Provide 2 of bay leaves.
- Prepare 1 teaspoon of panch phoran.
- Use to taste of Salt.
- Prepare to taste of Sugar.
- You need 1/2 cup of milk.
- Prepare of As required mustard oil.
- You need 2 teaspoon of ghee.
Steps to make Shukto:
- Grind a smooth paste of dhania, mustard and poppy seeds.
- Heat some oil in a wok and Deep fry the baris.
- Heat some in a wok, add panch phoran and bay leaves. Let it splutter and add the bitter gourds. Fry for a minute and then add the rest of the veggies. Add some salt as required. Saute it very well. Add the blended paste, along with ginger paste. Mix it very well for a minute or two..
