  4. Add chopped onion, fry it till translucent..
  5. Add star anise, fry for a minute..
  6. Add cubed potato and parwal, sauté on a high heat for 2 to 3 minutes..
  7. Add garlic paste, continue to sauté for a minute..
  8. Reduce the heat to medium. Add prepared masala paste from the first step. Saute well..
  9. Add ½ cup of water, salt and pressure cook for 2 – 3 whistles or till done..
  10. Dish out and garnish with coriander..
  11. Serve hot with rice, roti and dal..
